Re-Set

Last week I was dealing with the quiet aftermath of my "Down Day."
And now, here I am, feeling the subtle pull toward a re-set.
How about you? Are you feeling the need for a re-set?
Not because everything is falling apart, but because maybe you, too, had a Down Day recently or you're just feeling a bit...off.
Out of alignment.
A little too busy, a little too noisy, or just not quite you anymore.
Here's the thing about re-sets:
They don’t have to be super dramatic.
Really.
They don’t require you to suddenly quit your job, move across the country, or overhaul your entire life overnight.
A re-set can - and maybe should - just start small.
A pause.
A breath.
A moment of self-reflection.
Asking yourself,
"What’s working right now?"
"What isn’t?"
"What am I ready to let go of?"
Sometimes you keep doing the same-old same-old because it's become habitual. You're just plain used to it...
- same routines
- same commitments
- same identity that maybe doesn't even fit anymore
Here's the thing...
You. Are. Allowed. To. Change.
So, if you’ve here and been feeling that tug - that pull - toward a re-set, here’s a simple place to start:
Take 5-10 minutes today and ask yourself one question:
“What would feel better than this?”
Not perfect.
Not ideal.
Just better.
Write it down.
Then take one small step in that direction.
And that's it.
That’s how resets really happen—not in big drama, but in incremental and intentional shifts.
